This is a rebranding project based off of a local, St. Louis chain of theaters call Wehrenberg Theaters.Instead of rebranding the company as a whole, I decided to make a subsidiary of the main branch. I wanted something modern and hip yet still pay homage to the Deco aesthetic that the parent company strives for. Think of it as a theater that caters to the arthouse / independant movie-goers.The idea is to provide an atmosphere that you would get on a Friday or Saturday night but every night of the week. A working tagline is, " It's not where to go, it's Wehr to be." The core of this concept is that it fosters a community atmosphere by housing events that local patrons can put together like an animation festival by the community universities or have presentations by an author. Of the logos below, the one the right is the original Wehrenberg logo.
